QUICK TURN AROUND
Because you are placing your order directly online, You will receive your plan within 24 hours. If your order is placed before 5:00 pm EST, we can email most orders to you the same day, depending upon the shipping method you choose. Some orders may take up to 2 weeks for shipment. Please note that we cannot ship to a P.O. box; please provide a physical street address.
OUR EXCHANGE POLICY
Since BoyattPlans.com orders are Emailed or CD, especially for your order, there are no refunds. If for some reason, you find that the plan you purchased does not meet your needs, you may exchange that plan for another plan in our collection. BoyattPlans.com allows you ten days from the time of purchase to make an exchange. At the time of the exchange, you will be charged a processing fee of 20% of the total amount of the original order plus the difference in price between the plans (if applicable) and the cost to ship the new order to you. All exchanges must be approved by an authorized BoyattPlans.com representative before the exchange can take place. Please call our customer service department if you have any questions.
ORDERING PLANS
The best way to order Boyatt Plans is with the secured PayPal checkout where you may pay with major credit cards. Please note we encourage you to call us to discuss your options before you purchase a plan. Please contact us by phone or email if you have questions.
EMAIL ORDERS
All email orders will be sent in a PDF or DWG AutoCAD formats. Orders will be sent via email once the order is complete with a confirmation of payment and required information including the correct email address of the purchaser.
COPYRIGHT NOTICE
All homes sold through Boyatt Design. are protected by copyright. Reproduction of these home plans, either in whole or in part, including any form of copying and/or preparation of derivative works thereof, for any reason without prior written permission, is strictly prohibited. The purchase of a set of home plans in no way transfers any copyright or other ownership interest in it to the buyer except for a limited license to use that set of home plans for the construction of one, and only one, dwelling unit. The purchase of additional sets of that home plan at a reduced price from the original set or as part of a multiple set package does not convey to the buyer a license to construct more than one dwelling.
Similarly, the purchase of reproducible home plans (PDF or electronic Cad files) carries the same copyright protection as mentioned above. It is generally allowable to make up to a maximum of 14 copies for the construction of a single dwelling only. To use any plan more than once, and to avoid any copyright/license infringement, it is necessary to contact the plan designer to receive a release and license for any extended usage. Whereas, a purchaser of reproducible vellums is granted a license to make copies, and to also make modifications/revisions in order to customize the home as they see fit. Making copies from normal blueprints is illegal!
Copyright and licensing of home plans for construction exists to protect all parties. It respects and supports the intellectual property and dignity of the original designer.
Copyright law has been reinforced over the past few years. Willful infringement could cause settlements for statutory damages up to but not limited to $1,000,000.00 plus attorney fees, damages, and loss of profits.
Special Note: Copyright/License Release form is non-transferable from its original issuance party.
